Kuala Rompin – known as one of the world’s best Sailfish grounds. Kuala Rompin is the ultimate destination to fulfill your dream of landing a Sailfish. The season starts around mid March and ends in mid November with the arrival of the North-East monsoon. We specialize in trips to Kuala Rompin with Sailfish being the primary target. A common by-catch would include Spanish Mackeral and Cobia. There is also a mix of Trevallys, Tuskfish, Barracuda, Queenfish and the odd juvenile Black Marlin. Although not in large sizes, the Mahi Mahis are around from May till August and can be prolific at times. If you are unable to get a group of two anglers together, we would be happy to try hooking you up with other anglers, but if you're not concerned about the cost, we can easily go with less than 2 people. However, kindly note that the cost of a full-day fishing charter would still be based on a minimum of 2 anglers per boat basis. Ladies & families with kids are not a problem & novice / seasoned anglers alike are welcome. It’s also a great way to treat your business clients to some great billfishing action instead of the usual game of golf. You’ll have your client's undivided attention for 9 hrs out on the blue water! Cell phones work in most areas out at sea.
